Someone needs to figure out how to harness the energy that people exert at the gym. 100 people moving elliptical machines all day long and you’re telling me they can’t at least power the lights in the building?
Thinking about it more, a setup like this would actually make me exercise harder. If I could see a graph that says “You’ve generated enough energy to power the building for...

Past, Present and Future Tense
Not a treatise on language, but some thoughts I’ve been having since starting my new job. Have to run off to said job in a few minutes, but I promise to finish this off in the next week…or two. It’s not that I’ve lost interest in blogging, or writing for that matter, or that I don’t have the time, I’m just having a tough time getting a routine going with it....

I am off to run in the Cabot Trail Relay. Expect an update on that in about a month, similar to the update on Cuba and Grad.

Skills
Pick one skill you have excellent ability in. Good. Picture it. Go through the motions of it. Great. Wonderful. Now let’s share our skills. Mine is losing my gaddamn wallet, and then not realizing until I’m on the highway en route to a meeting/function that I need it for. Are You Kidding Me?!, with a capital NotA-F*cking-Gain

My Friends are all in Gangs – Volume 1
vigeant: After posting a list of all the gangs in the 1979 movie ‘The Warriors’ earlier (Check it out Here), I started thinking about what gangs my friends would have been in! Here is a working list of the gangs some of my internet friends would be in (if they were in the warriors): Paul – The Orphans Cam – The Easy Aces Smith - The Five Points Todd – The High Hats Ian - The Moonrunners ...
Updates (and downdates?)
Everyone that was on the job lookout, thanks for the help, but the search is over. I now work for these guys at this location If there is one album to drive to this summer and that you should acquire by any means necessary, make it I Created Disco - Calvin Harris. Simply some great beats to drive to. For those who didn’t know, I’m running in the Cabot Trail Relay on Saturday night....
P-laid
Yep, background is definitely pretty plaid. Was trying to find a brown and white pattern/plaid similar to .luke., but I like this one. Anyway, as always, suggestions and comments welcome.

The cost of Pro-choice
Scene: Henry House Pub and Eatery. Alan, Jeffery and Ian are seated and eating Steak and Eggs combinations. Enter stage left: Fat, hippie types talking at high volume about chocolate spaghetti sauce and other stuff. Art and sh*t. Whatever. One dude was so big his raincoat was literally a tarp somehow fastened around his enormous body. Fat Hippies: Blah blah blah, I’m loud, fat and a hippie,...

I’m going to throw this one over to dudevice’s resident games expert Michael “Cher” Harper.
The Phantom has always reminded me a little of Adam Barrett. Maybe it’s just his voice, the whole Ron Burgundy thing.
Podcasts and my low level of patience towards...
pbrown: I have a very hard time these days watching t.v, or listening to the radio. For the timebeing, Podcasts are proving themselves as the superior medium. You can listen/watch them whenever or wherever you want. You can choose from an incredibly large selection of topics…. ok, sounds a little bit like tv right? Sure but there are NO ADS, and when I want something I want it now dammit. It will...

Job?
I need a job, preferably in the Halifax/Truro area. I have one lined up in Sydney, but I’d much rather live in Elmsdale and commute for the summer. If anyone has any information/ties to the mafia, leave a comment, call me, email me or express post a microfilm with details. If you’re going the microfilm route, make sure to get espionage insurance, spies love those things.

Cuba - Part 1
It definitely sucked getting up at 2 for our flight down. The wait in the airport did not seem that bad though, might have been the 30 minute lineup at Tim Hortons or just the excitement. Or the drugs. Lots of drugs. Flight down was fairly uneventful, lil turbulence here and there, nothing special. We did have the “hero” seats though, right on the wing, so leg room galore and more. ...

Those
tricky bastards at apple foiled my plan. they package an intel-only copy of leopard with new computers, mainly to thwart plots schemed by skeevy characters such as myself.

going to try and upgrade ole betsy to 10.5. this may or may not go well
Superfriends, unite!!
i am currently simultaneously using 3 computers; an eMac, my iMac, and the fam’s new 20” iMac. it’s kinda cool. It does mean however that i’m going to have to give up the new iMac which is going to be hurtful.
Layout and layoff
also, big changes may be in store for layout, amount will be directly proportional to how bored I am and level of employment
VIP
I had a great day. Not only did I have a good meeting with the Assistant Dean of Dentistry at Dal, I was VIP at the world championships, all day. I basically run the show. I saw all three games today. I am tired, but in a good way. I decided tomorrow will also be a good day. I’m going to run, watch a dude clean our fireplace, catch up on blogging and decide my life’s path. Until...
